| Atkins China has been commissioned to lead the detailed design of Hung Hom Station (HUH) and Associated Tunnels as part of the proposed Shatin to Central Link (SCL) for the MTRC. This will entail a full range of detailed design services encompassing engineering, architectural, building services, transportation planning and human factors design. |

| The North Island Line (NIL) project will extend the Tung Chung Line (TCL) for 3.5km from Hong Kong Station (HKG) to Fortress Hill Station (FOH). The NIL will provide much needed relief to the existing Island Line at its critical section and provide new stations at Tamar (TAM), Exhibition (EXH) and Causeway Bay / Victoria Park. |

| West Rail Tsuen Wan Station Detailed Design & Construction Management |

| Atkins China Ltd. was appointed by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) to carry out the detailed design and construction supervision for the Tsuen Wan section of the West Rail Project. The works included 590m of cut-and-cover railway tunnels, an underground station, 5 ha of marine reclamation and reprovisioned structures such as ferry piers and pumping stations. |

| The Shatin to Central Link (SCL) railway was identified as a priority scheme in the Hong Kong Government's Railway Development Strategy 2000, and proposals were sought from parties wishing to design, build and operate the new railway. Atkins was appointed by the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC) as the Co-ordinating Consultant for their Proposal to Government for this project. In this role, Atkins was responsible for strategic advice, technical co-ordination and preparation of the proposal. |

| West Rail Technical Studies & Detailed Design |

Atkins undertook the technical study of three major sections of West Rail, extending from the
southern tip of the Kowloon Peninsula to two crossing locations on the border with mainland China. The route comprises sections of multispan viaducts, long-span bridge, bored tunnel, cut and cover tunnel, reclamation, earth-mounded box structure, a number of stations and associated property developments, and interchanges with the existing urban rail network. |

| Atkins was awarded the Detailed Design Consultancy for Tseung Kwan O (TKO) and Tiu Keng Leng (TKL) Stations, as part of MTR Corporation Ltd¡¦s Tsueng Kwan O Extension project. After award the scope of services was substantially increased to include the design of cut and cover tunnels within the C602 corridor. The construction value of the works was approximately US$300 million. |

| MTRCL appointed Atkins to carry out a pre-investment study on the project with the primary aim of identifying the preferred scheme and providing cost estimates of the project and assisting in identifying project revenues. This information was used by MTRCL to develop a project financial model and hence an understanding of its viability. |

The Taiwan High Speed Rail project represented one of the largest infrastructure projects ever to
be undertaken in Asia. Completed for operation in early 2007 and stretching 345km (220 miles)
largely on elevated structures, the line now connects Taipei and Kaohsiung (Taiwan¡¦s two largest
cities) with the potential to achieve a 90 minute journey time operating at speeds of up to
300kph, compared with the previous 4 hours using conventional routes. |

| KCRC Light Rail |

| The KCRC Light Rail system serving the new town areas of Tuen Mun, Tin Shui Wai, and Yuen Long in the North West New Territories of Hong Kong was opened in 1988 and as the development of the area progressed additional sections were added. The system mainly runs at grade in either a segregated corridor or on street. |

Central Reclamation Phase III (CRIII) is a high profile project on the north shore of Hong Kong
Island in Victoria Harbour. The newly created area of land is required for essential transport
infrastructure that will provide much needed relief for traffic congestion in the busy Central and
Wan Chai districts and the new area will be developed into a world class waterfront. |

| Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme |

| The Lai Chi Kok Transfer Scheme (LCKTS) forms an integral part of the overall flood control strategy for West Kowloon to intercept the surface runoff at six locations from the hinterland north of Lai Chi Kok and provide a drainage tunnel discharge directly into Victoria Harbour near Stonecutters Island. |

| The Harbour Area Treatment Scheme (HATS) Stage 2A Sewage Conveyance System (SCS) isproposed by Drainage Services Department (DSD) to collect and convey the pre-treated sewage from eight existing Preliminary Treatment Works (PTW), located along the northern and south-western shoreline of Hong Kong Island, to the Stonecutters Island Sewage Treatment Works (SCISTW) for treatment before final disposal into the western harbour via an existing submarine outfall. |

Discovery Bay is a major development on Lantau Island in Hong Kong developed by the Hong Kong
Resort Company Limited. Atkins has been involved in its progressive expansion over the years
including the civil engineering design works for Master Plan 6.0. The site developed under Master
Plan 6.0 covers an area of approximately 41.2 ha and the infrastructure provided will support an
additional 185,000m2 residential Gross Floor Area (GFA) for a population of 5,500. |

| Replacement and Rehabilitation of Water Mains In Hong Kong |

Atkins has played a major role in the 15-year water mains replacement and rehabilitation
programme for the Hong Kong Government, Water Supplies Department (WSD). The programme
includes replacing / rehabilitating (R&R) some thousands of kilometres of both fresh and salt water
mains to minimise leakage and prevent further deterioration of the water supply networks. |

| Guangdong LNG Terminal & Trunkline Project ESIA |

The project is the first of the planned initiatives to provide natural gas to the region and is
also the first LNG Terminal to be established in China and includes a coastal terminal to
receive, store, re-gasify and send-out natural gas delivered in liquid form by ocean-going
tankers and more than 360 km of natural gas pipeline network leading to major
population centers. |
